I need help with a 1989 Kawasaki KLR 250-D2?
Engine is a 4 stroke, DOHC, 4 valve, 1 cylinder. this is my dads motorcycle. He said it was blowing black smoke, now it's blue smoke. when he tries to start it, it starts to start up, then dies. He can't figure out what is wrong with it. Does anybody know? Thanks.
blue smoke isn't good. it usually indicate valve seal is leaking. Oil is leaking from valve side and dripping on the piston when you start up themotor piston is burning up the oil which blue smoke come out the tail pipe.
