I have my choice between a Cannondale Slice 5 and a Cervelo P2, which should I buy?
I am a competitive triathlete. I compete in Half Ironman's and olympic distance races. I am looking to make the jump next season to the full ironman distance. So I have decided to finally move away from my beginners road bike and buy a TT style bike. But I cannot decided between these two bikes.
1) Which has the more aero advantage?
2) Which is better for riding 112 miles?
3) Which is bike is stiffer?
The Cannondale is stiffer and that's always been the main complaint about 'dales...for small guys. If you are lightweight they'll beat you up. If your a big guy, they ride beautifully.
That said, the P2 is the slightly better bike with a solidity and quality you don't find on the 'dale, BUT, they are both superb and either will blow your mind if you've only ridden beginners bikes (the P2 will turn more heads).
