Harley Davidson. The name means motorcycle. In business for over a hundred years, the company is universally recognized as the manufacturer of some of the finest motorcycles in the world and rightly so.
Beginning in the mind of William Harley and the backyard of his friend, Arthur Davidson, the couple has created a "bicycle Motor "which has evolved to become the standard for fine two-wheeled transport.
Founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, their first Cycling did not even have enough power to catch up to the hills of the city without pedal assistance. The couple was undaunted. In some years they were producing military vehicles for the fight against the First World War and it has been the norm for the military and the motorcycles police since.
From 50 motorcycles produced the original factory in 1906, the company has grown to produce millions which are sold throughout the world.
'Harley', 'Choppers', 'Pigs' and other nicknames attached over the years. Choppers are bikes that have an angle of front fork extended, moving the handlebars back. "Pigs" was created where live pigs were mounted on round the Back Seat after winning a race. But whatever you call them, Harley Davidson motorcycles - except for a brief hiccup in the 1970s - have always been the gold standard bike.
Their large, powerful engines and pipe sounds make them recognizable by distinctive even around the corner. Seeing a cemented the impression that the viewer to watch training by size.

Although they pay a small percentage for the over 5 billion dollars in annual revenue, advertising is priceless. As if someone had need to be told that Harley Davidson makes motorcycles!
There are thousands of Harley Davidson online forums - three times as many there are for Yamaha. One of the few serious rivals for the crown design of the motorcycle. BMW, Victory, Honda ... many efforts - some come close - but Harley Davidson remains the champion. A title that they are unlikely to drop soon.
After all, there is only room for one at the top of highest peak.
