Can I have a garage built over my well, water well cover?
I am thinking of having a garage built. The problem is the only location where I can put it is where my Well and Well cover are. Is it possible to just build around it? Would it cause any future issues in case something were to go wrong?
you bet, what if you had to pull up the pipes due to rust, do you go through the roof. They are 20' lengths unless you are using flex plastic, then its just a little trickery to do the job. But moreover if I had to put my garage in that area, I'd place the well in the corner of the garage and make a side outlet for the other side of the pump so the wall became a door or french door at that. That would give you all the room you needed to do the work on the pump and expand the size of the garage for your personal use...maybe 24 x 30 or even lgr
