How many cans of paint will it take to paint the inside of my house?
My wife and I purchased a new construction Last April and all of the rooms and ceilings are the same color..white. We would like to paint it to make it feel less like a "rental" and more like "our home". The house is 1350 square feet (3 bedrooms, 2 baths). Is there a guideline for how many cans of paint to buy for each room?
well, i assume you arent going to do each room the same color again (since thats what its like now) and also, you would use different paint in rooms like a bathroom than you would in a bedroom (because of moisture/scrubbing ablilty). so, it will only take one gallon of paint for each of the 2 bathrooms, and then 1-2 for each bedroom depending on the size of the bedroom. I have decently sized bedrooms and got by with one gallon (using one coat primer, 2 coats paint)
